1. Organisers

This competition is jointly organised by FORMATION, The Dybdahl Co. and Tom Rossau during EquipHotel Paris, 2–5 November 2026.

FORMATION is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the competition and serves as the main contact for participants.

2. Participation

Participation is free and open to visitors aged 18 or over. No purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person is permitted.

To enter, participants must submit their name, email address and a guess of the number of chocolates in the jar through the official competition form.

Employees of the organising companies and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

3. Prize & Winner Selection

The prize is one bottle of champagne.

The participant whose guess is closest to the actual number of chocolates in the jar will win. In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected at random from the equally accurate entries.

The winner will be contacted by email within 14 days of the competition closing on 5 November 2026 and must respond within 14 days to claim the prize.

FORMATION will arrange and cover the cost of delivery to the winner, subject to applicable shipping and alcohol regulations.

4. Personal Data & Privacy

Data Controllers

FORMATION, The Dybdahl Co. and Tom Rossau are joint data controllers for the administration of this competition.

FORMATION manages the competition, maintains the participant database, selects and contacts the winner, and serves as the primary contact for privacy-related enquiries.

Each brand acts as an independent data controller for its subsequent marketing activities and receives marketing contact information only from participants who have specifically selected that brand.

Participants may exercise their GDPR rights against any of the joint controllers, regardless of the allocation of responsibilities between the organisers.

Personal Data Collected

We collect participants' names, email addresses, company names (if provided), competition entries and individual marketing preferences.

Purpose and Legal Basis

Competition data is processed to administer the competition, verify entries, select the winner and arrange delivery of the prize, based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR where necessary for performance of the competition agreement.

Where participants have given their consent, the selected brands may send marketing emails about collections, products and design inspiration under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Marketing consent is optional, separate for each brand and can be withdrawn at any time without affecting participation.

Data Access and Sharing

FORMATION has access to the complete competition database.

The Dybdahl Co. and Tom Rossau receive marketing contact information only from participants who have explicitly opted in to their respective communications.

Each brand is responsible for the lawful handling, security and deletion of its own marketing contact data.

Data Processors and International Transfers

We use Squarespace to collect and process competition information.

Squarespace processes personal data on our behalf under its Data Processing Addendum and may use authorised subprocessors.

Personal data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by applicable safeguards, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Further information about Squarespace's data protection practices is available at www.squarespace.com/dpa.

Data Retention

Competition data will be deleted within 90 days after the competition closes, unless longer retention is required by law or necessary for legal claims.

Marketing contact data and records of consent are managed separately by each selected brand and retained only as long as necessary for the relevant lawful purposes.

Your Rights

Participants have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of their personal data, and to exercise other applicable rights under the GDPR.

Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time through the unsubscribe link in marketing emails or by contacting the relevant brand.

Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
